Use in Biological control: Yellow and blue sticky cards trap the adult stages of flying insects such as western flower thrips, whiteflies, fungus gnats, shoreflies, leafminers, winged aphids, cabbage root maggot, carrot rust fly, cabbage white butterfly, cucumber beetle, onion fly and many other damaging insects.
Sticky cards can help you detect early pest infestations more effectively than intensive plant sampling. By using sticky cards, you can keep track of insect population trends, and make more informed and timely pest management decisions. If using parasitic wasps, it is advisable to limit the amount of stiky cards, as they will also be trapped on cards.
For Best Results: For stalked or tied plants, position the top of the sticky card slightly above the top of the plant canopy. For garden and field use, hang the sticky card up with a string, prop the sticky card up with a wire card holder or place the sticky card on the ground. For potted plants, position the bottom of the sticky card a few inches above the plant canopy.
